Hisar. A tragic case was reported on Saturday afternoon in Sainipura village, Hansi. When father Suresh heard that his daughter had been kidnapped, he stepped out to search for his child. Seeing a white car coming towards him on the road, he tried to flag it down.
Unfortunately, the driver did not slow down and collided with his car head-on. Father Suresh received serious injuries due to which he could not survive. The police case registered a shocking truth. The girl had married her lover in Hisar.
The incident happened around 2 p.m. Sandeep, son-in-law of Suresh, received news that his sister was kidnapped around 12 a.m. The family notified the police. The police arrived on the spot to search for them. In the meantime, Suresh understood that his kidnappers are in a white car. He and his family are near the road. Seeing an incoming speeding car, Suresh signaled them to stop.
It is claimed that the driver did not press the brakes hard and collided with Suresh forcibly, which resulted in severe injuries to his hip joint, waist, and other parts of his body. Locals first admitted him to a civil hospital.
As his condition was serious, doctors referred him to Hisar. But his family members admitted him to a private hospital. Doctors arrived there around 5 p.m., when Suresh started gasping for his last breaths. Arrangements for his shifting to another hospital were being made when he died.
“The police post in-charge Ravikant said that the victim was identified to be named Suresh. He was a native of Sainipura. The police started searching for the girl after a kidnapping case was reported. Initially, when contact was made with them, they found that she had already married her boyfriend in court in Hisar.
Copies of the documents related to the marriage had also been provided to them,” reported *The Indian Express*.
On the other hand, the driver who was driving the car has also arrived at the police station and made a complaint. He says that his car window was damaged in the accident. The police say that there seems to be a case of a road accident. FIR or other action would only happen after taking statements from the family.
Neither case has been filed yet. The deceased’s body has been put in the Civil Hospital mortuary for a post-mortem. The family is in shock. The village is in mourning. The police are investigating the case. They are taking statements from both sides.
