Dharuhera Land Scam Unearthed — IDs Issued Without Ownership Papers

This major mistake in the Dharuhera area of Rewari came to light when Lal Singh, a resident of Harinagar, alleged that municipal officials authorized nine acres of his land in the name of a wrong person. The complainant said that neither the registry nor the transfer/ownership documents were available, yet the administration created the property ID.

The land was already in dispute.

Lal Singh, in his complaint, mentioned that his agricultural land was already under dispute and the matter was pending before the Financial Commissioner, Haryana, Chandigarh, and the next date of hearing was February 4, 2026.

Land authorized without investigation

The family that has been cultivating the land for 68 years has alleged that the individuals in whose names the property IDs have been created do not possess any valid documents. The applicant has demanded a thorough investigation by the administration and strict action against the guilty officials.
